Good "reads" for a rainy Sunday afternoon...

It's one of those Sunday afternoons when I just prefer to curl up and read...anything that is not associated with grading student papers or course development!

Today--in between reviewing student thesis papers--I plan to browse, read, and enjoy a few things that I picked up this week at two local bookstores.

I still think there is something to be said for going to actual bookstores (not virtual ones) once in a while!  I love browsing with a cup of coffee...the shinyness of the book covers, the colors, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and "different" in our computerized, digitized world.  It's actually a step back in time in a way!

Here are a few of my Sunday afternoon reads:

Newest American Bungalow

This is a great book for "refreshing" the memory of basic design as well as in introducing novices to the field of interior design.

Since I have a difficult time not "playing" with my Mac, I am heading to the window seat to look at this--CD included!

The Somerset series are always interesting!

Here are two more in the series--forgot to pick up Journaling!

Great day to also check out the latest stories on:

Have a great Sunday "read!"
