Urban greenery...courtyards in the city!

Since we are city dwellers part of the week, I thought I would talk a little about creating "courtyard space" in urban environments.   Each year the Nashville Downtown Partnership holds the annual Downtown Home Tour.

The Westview's rooftop garden and gazebo were part of the tour several years ago.  Isn't the view most excellent?!!!  You can see the Bennie Dillon and our window in the picture to the left!

I know gardens are supposed to help with relaxation, but I can't help but love the workspace built into this garden (Source: Chelsea Flower Show, 2009).
